No.10 has some relevance in that I recall a quote from a former player, I think it was Ozzie Smith, who said something to the effect that for St. Louis, tradition was having Stan Musial drop by the clubhouse with words of encouragement, whereas tradition in San Diego was Nate Colbert coming into the clubhouse to try and sell used cars.
