"City Island"

We took int he movie "City Island" this afternoon. It stars Andy Garcia and Juliana Marguiles and it is a small little sleeper of a movie, but we loved it.

Well worth seeing.

And to get off track a bit, a medium popcorn and a medium Coke at the theater set us back $10.25. I am guessing that the theater's cost of these two items came in a less than a buck. Pro sports venues aren't the only place that market overpriced foodstuffs!

  1. I've got one word for you: "SMUGGLE" (and it's not the $10.25 that should be of concern.
A bottle of water, and 94% fat-free popcorn in a gallon plastic storage bag is how I enter the multi-plex.

The fat content and nutrition value in theater popcorn is awful, and a medium coke (phosphuric acid) will kill you. OK, so I'm old and anal!
    (But, I'm right).

  2. That is why I never buy anything to eat when I go to the movies. It is a real ripoff.
