To Absent Friends - Gino Cimoli


It has been a rough week for Pirates Alumni as the news comes today of the death of Gino Cimoli, a member of the 1960 World Series winning Pirates.
RIP, Gino.

    Two Cimoli facts...

    Statistically, the best “Gino” in MLB history acording to Baseball-reference.com, and...

    He led the A.L. in Triples with 15 in 1962, while playing for the Kansas City Athletics.
